"Torresmania" overcomes Istanbul

Fernando Torres international fame became more than evident on Monday as he and the Spanish team arrived at Atatürk airport to be greeted by a flood of paparazzi and fans.

The airport atmosphere was one of great admiration and love towards Torres and the Spanish squad. The slightest gesture Torres and the Spanish National team made, created an abundant frenzy among the Turkish people present.

Watching all the chaos you’d forget that this coming Wednesday Spain and its greatest enemy of the moment, Turkey, would be facing of in yet another grueling match.

This time the action takes place in Istanbul’s Ali Sami Yen. Where a wave of pressure will surely hit the Spanish team as they compete in enemy territory. But for now Torres and the squad are but to happy to sign autographs and take pictures with the locals.

Peace times are always great, but one things for sure. Come Wednesdays game against Turkey, Torres will transform back into a great enemy against the Turkish National team.
