Just Like A Tattoo

Stepping outside football news, its no secret Fernando is popular for more than just his amazing athletic skills on the pitch.
His delicious eye candy that girls all over the world swoon for and admire. Hanging posters of him up their wall and wishing they could one day meet him.
I know personally, I would love to meet Nando one day and ask him what the heck does his leg tattoo mean. I’ve heard many things–that the tattoo represents his first date with Olalla, or that its dedicated to his grandfather. Whatever the story, I’d love to know like many of us.
So what do you think of El Niño’s tattoo’s? Do you like them? Hate them perhaps? If you were to by any chance meet Liverpool’s number 9, what would you say to him? Would you ask him anything specifically?

Hello, this is Fernando Torres. The tattoo on my leg is the date I signed for Atletico. The number 9 on my right arm is my lucky number + my shirt number for Spain and Liverpool. The tattoo on my left arm is a fictional language designed by Lord of the Rings author saying ‘Fernando’.
the number nine means ofcourse his love for that number, since it is both his number for club and country. But it also holds another meaning, all the cast of The Lord of the Rings, Fellowship of the ring have the number nine tattooed on them because 9 people made up the fellowship. So because Fernando loves LOTR, he wanted the tattoo. The tattoo on his leg signifies the day he signed for Liverpool.

its in roman numerals which is 7/7/2001 which is the day he finished as player of the tournament in under 16 year old championship in England en route to Spain’s victory.

I think his tattoos are really cool. I like that not wveryody knows what they mean so you know they have a special meaning for him and he didn’t get them just to show off. Overall I love him! He’s the best <3

I love his tattoos…they’re not “in your face” tattoos – nice a suttle; and besides being a fantastic footballer, he’s an overall genuine guy – not a whiney bitch like ronaldo/or a womanizer like Ramos – Nando is the real deal. Plus, his smile is so adorible and everytime he smiles i want to give him a big hug.

have read that he has a tattoo which says the date of his first kiss. read this in an italian news paper last summer (during the euro 2008), and they explained the meaning. not sure if that is the one on his leg, but i mean, doubt that he has that many dates tattooed on his gorgeous body…

Any tattoo is horrible… I just can’t believe how people can seat down, think and then get to draw on their own skin!!!
