First Win For The Reds At Anfield

Coming back from a lost to Tottenham at White Hart Lane, the Reds came back with a furious comeback to show why their regarded as the top team in the EPL.
It was a magnificent game for Liverpool as ace Fernando Torres kicked of the first half by scoring in the first goal in the first four minutes.
Setting pace to the night, the second shot for Anfield’s Red’s came in on the 44th minute thanks to a denied Kuyt header who was luckily picked up by newcomer Johnson, who scored in the second goal of the night for Liverpool ande cemented his debut.
With a spectacular first half in there pocket, Stoke City came back trying to score some equalizer shots and by some miracle of God win the game. However Liverpool had other lans, not wanting to get taken down again – especially on their own home turf.
The moment of the match arrived with 12 minutes left on the Anfield scoreboard as Gerrard produced a simply sublime piece of skill to set up Kuyt for Liverpool’s third of the evening.
Latching on to Mascherano’s ball over the top, the skipper superbly spun beyond Matthew Etherington before squaring across the face of goal for Kuyt to tap home.
Substitute Ngog headed a late fourth in stoppage-time after Johnson’s cross was turned into his path by Sorensen.
